The Way to the Heart

Disillusioned chef, Ava, returns to her small hometown to check on her reclusive father, but he’s still incapable of connection, choosing instead to tinker on his 1926 Cadillac. Ava vows to return to the big city as soon as possible, but when she runs into her childhood best friend, Logan, and finds him surprisingly running the local farmers’ market, she finds herself unable to stay away from him. Wrestling with the hurt of her past, Ava must push past her desire to flee in order to reconcile her relationships: both with her father, whose attachment to that 1926 Cadillac goes deeper than she knows, and to Logan, who might be attached to her more than she knows. For Ava, ‘the way to the heart’ means searching her own for what she truly wants.
