It’s Only Make Believe (Original: Eventyrland)

This is the story of murder that never should have happened, about friends that never should have been trusted and debt that can never be paid. During a robbery Jenny tells her boyfriend Frank, a small time criminal, that she is pregnant. Frank is overjoyed and proposes to her on the spot. But the robbery is a disaster and they are caught in a chaotic gunfight. In the confusion Jenny shoots two people. One of them is Frank. Many years later Jenny is released from prison. With no job and living in a in a wobbly old house she sets out to establish a relationship with her 10 year old daughter, Merete. Merete and Jenny start spending time together, and a chemistry slowly evolves between them. Soon the past catches up with Jenny. A gang of criminals who lost money because of her force her to yet again enter the criminal life she has worked so hard to leave behind.
