The rugged beauty of West Texas provides a canvas for indie drama, Due West. But it is the tour-de-force performance of ADRIANNE PALICKI (Friday Night Lights) that paints the heartbreaking resilience of a small-town woman, matched only by the conflicted humanity of her local preacher, portrayed with unrelenting sincerity by HENRY THOMAS (E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial).
After a harrowing experience, The Woman (Palicki) begrudgingly borrows $700 from her recently estranged brother and sets off alone across West Texas for an unknown purpose. After her pick-up truck breaks down in the middle of nowhere, she collides with both the best and worst of humanity. Along the way she discovers that mirages don’t only exist in the desert as she comes face to face with the most impossible decision a woman ever has to make.
